16th Century

Helena Snackenborg

Snackenborg Rose Embroidery

The Snackenborg rose pattern has been attempted by other digital artists for machine embroidery, as well as on pre-printed cotton fabric which can be purchased by the yard, but no one has EVER captured the true essence and details of this iconic 16th Century pattern! - Until Now! Previous replicas rendered an indistinct circle with a yellow center, but when you examine the original painting close up you can see that it's a five-petal flower!

Finally, a more authentic version of the famous Snackenborg rose chemise and partlet exclusively available at  Designs From Time.

Tudor Rose Badges

For several years I have had clients requesting Tudor Roses for gloves, handkerchiefs, sweetbags, pouches, and more, and my search of the internet for an attractive rendition of a Tudor Rose had left me empty-handed. The only pattern out there doesn't stitch out well, and it's just not pretty!  I got tired of waiting around for someone else to come up with a better pattern, so I decided to have my own reproduced!

Now exclusively available through my Etsy Store, my Tudor Rose badges can be purchased. (See the menu to the left)

Available Sizes:  4 x 4 inches and 6 x 6 inches
